A BMX race bike is different from a BMX park/street bike. They are lighter, rear brake only, and have no pegs, or other accessories, and are designed to be ridden standing.
Most bikes have 20 inch wheels, this is for the “challenge” category (there is also a 24 inch cruiser category) - sizing dependent on rider height – micro mini, mini, junior, expert, expert XL, pro, pro XL, pro XXL.
Sizing is notoriously difficult to gauge, we suggest you try out different sizes before buying! Ask us, ask a friend, etc.
